Al-Khaaliq means the Creator. It also means the Maker, the Producer, the Designer and Assessor of humankind, the heavens, the earth, the day, the night and everything. He created man in best shape. His creation is perfect and the best. Al-Baari means the Inventor of all things. It also means the Originator. All His creation are in proportion to their needs. Al-Muswawwir means the One who gives a definite form or colour which is suitable for a given purpose. For example, the long neck of a giraffe is suitable for eating the leaves from tall trees. The trunk of an elephant is suited for getting water and food. The colours of a chameleon help it to hide from its enemies. Al-Ghaffar means the Great Forgiver. People commit sins day and night, but Allah is always ready to forgive. His door is open for those who ask for forgiveness, if they are sincere. We have to learn to forgive one another becouse no one is perfect. Al-Qahhar means the Dominant. It also means the Irresistible or the Overpowering. Allah has a great and commanding influence on people. What a person may want to do to others can easily be stopped by Allah. Fir-aun wanted to kill Prophet Musa (A.S.) and his people. Allah made Fir-aun and his army drown at sea. He saved Prophet Musa (A.S.) and his people. In life, what we plan depends entirely on Allah's wishes.
